What is RFID?
RFID What Is It?
(English "Radio Frequency Identification" or Radio Frequency Identification) is a generic term for technologies that use radio waves to identify objects automatically and remotely.
An RFID system consists of several key components:
a transponder or tag internationally designated by 'tag'. This tag contains the data item you want to identify. It is also equipped by an antenna that transmits signals (waves RF) tag to the reader and receiving data.
a transcriptionist or reader who has contact with the tag through its antenna (receiving the signal emitted by the tag or transmits information) and then sends the data to the treatment system.
A software handles the processing of data.
What Is It a tag RFID?
Is a tiny chip and antenna. The chip to identify the object to be fixed. Contains information that, once submitted, the transcriber decrypt.
The "tag" obtains the required power of the electromagnetic field emitted by the antenna of the transcriber. The reader converts the information into a format exploitable by a computer.
